It’s very easy to get real excited about a new idea. Thinking about it, it looks like this idea is your game-changer. Few days or weeks into your fantasizing, you realize there is a problem! A road-block… You shove that idea into your drafts…again
But it doesn’t have to be that way!
A lot of people are stuck on getting started with the things they should really do because they are trying to figure everything, every step out! Until the twentieth step is figured out in your mind, you don’t want to take the first – Wrong.
You don’t need to know the twentieth step. You only need to make the first move to climb the first step! You need to learn to start from Number 1.
I know how difficult it is. Sometimes our minds take control of us, and we can’t stop thinking and getting all caught up in doubt and and anxiety.
“What if I don’t have the necessary connection?”
“What if I invest all my savings and it still doesn’t work out?”
“What if step 12 just doesn’t work out?”
“What if people hate my idea?”
Most times, you don’t have answers to these type of questions. They can be overwhelming.
But you need to get started. You need to take the first step! Once you do that, trust me, you are nineteen steps away. If you are doing everything right, everything will fall in place. And even if you fail, it doesn’t matter. Keep trying.
It’s unusual for anyone to succeed at the first endeavor. To take that number 1 step, requires a lot of effort. Taking control of your mind, to not think about step 2 or even 3 yet! Not even the next minute.
Your first step may be getting those goods to stock up your store, making a call, getting that loan, setting up that website, running that campaign or even creating your first product.
People are stuck because they are trying to figure everything out! You can never have it all figured out. You don’t have to. You only need to dwell on the first step.
So, when next you have that creative idea or something you’d like to venture into, take it in steps. Step one may take a year, but it doesn’t matter. Just make sure you are doing it right. Start with Number 1.
