When You Are Ready For A Change, Don’t Hesitate

Change comes into our lives through different ways. It can come as a result of crisis, choice or chance. At some point in life, we are all faced with having to make a choice, and they are usually very hard ones.

Do you make the choice or remain where you are?

Some months ago I had to face this tough decision. The decision to make a choice. I worked at a really hectic job for 2 years and as much as I loved the job, I also wanted time to do other things I loved, focus on my business and the freedom to do them from wherever I wanted.

So I quit.. Everyone else thought I was crazy. Believe me, I thought I was crazy too. People are out there searching for jobs while I was planning to quit a job with a good pay. What could I do? I had fought this urge for a long time and I knew it was time to determine the direction my life would go.

Today, I work for companies either from the comfort of my apartment, my office or wherever I find myself and I’m able to invest a big deal of my attention to growing my business and creating content. If I had not taken that decision to quit my full time job, of course I would be stuck in that chair making excuses about why I can’t do the things I love to do.

I’m not telling you to quit your job. You may have one that still gives you all the time in the world to chase your dreams. I’m only telling you to:

  • Change your mindset
  • Get unstuck
  • Accept change – Don’t hesitate!
  • Give a meaning to life, a purpose to why you exist
  • Let go of your regrets and blames
  • Attempt the things that scare you the most
  • Commit to activities that enable you to be flexible, optimistic, creative and mentally fit

Your life doesn’t get better by chance, it gets better by change.
